BIO
When a DJ puts his heart and soul into the music, a style of mixing, while continuously building up an extensive collection of music, chances are he takes the craft seriously. Not only growing to become a key player in the professional DJ game, but he is also one who has been able to maintain a sharp outlook on the evolution of music, trends, and pop culture. This is DJ Soul. Soul is one of Canada’s most experienced, versatile, well respected and highly connected DJ’s.
Based in Montreal, Quebec, he has held residencies at Jello Bar, The Plateau Lounge(W-Hotel), Santos, and more. Currently Soul spins at Le Tequila Bar and occaisionally at Marcus (4 Seasons) & The Farsides.
In 2005 Soul Collaborated with Next Selection R&B artist and super producer, Ryan Leslie on an exclusive promotional CD titled “Soul Connection” which was used to promote Ryan’s debut album. Soul has also opened for artists such as Salt n’ Pepa, Nas, Lil Jon, Pitbull, Beres Hammond and has DJ’ed concert after-parties for Dave Chapelle, and the I love 90s tour (Colour Me Badd/Montell Jordan/Salt n’ Pepa), to name a few.
Soul continues to make himself heard with his various mixtape series: VIBIN' - A blend of current hits covering multiple genres, SOULs Mix & Chill - an annual slow jams mix dropping every Valentines Day, 'trap-ish - the current HipHop "trap" flava, Ilove 90s HipHop - A mix of 90s HipHop, 90s R&B - a mix of 90s R&B all of which can be streamed on most streaming platforms (Amazon Music, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, ...) or hit the 'DJ SOUL MIXES' tab on this site.
